TRENDS “Onam Nalla Olam” - powered by Malayala Manorama!
Season 3 of the largest onam competition is open for participation. To participate in the contests, you can upload your entries and register.
About each category
Trendsetter group photo contest
- Photos showcasing Onam celebrations by families, friends, colleagues etc to be uploaded on the on the registration page and posted on social media(Instagram/Facebook).
- Entries which are only posted on social media handles will also be considered.
- Photos can be from any onam celebrations in the past or current year
- Best 30 photos will be shortlisted for semi final round.
- A combination of expert jury score and number of likes on the Instagram or facebook post will be considered to select final 3 winners
- If selected as winner, at least 3 people present in the photo should be present for the grand finale event in Kochi to receive the prize
- The decision of the judges and the expert panel shall be final in all matters and no correspondence shall be entertained in relation to their decision.
- The CTA video to be removed- will share the new one once its ready. Attached a screenshot for reference. Offer card to also be removed. Will share revised.
Trending Onam Reel Contest
- To register, participants have to upload a reel capturing Onam celebrations and Fashion on their Instagram profile with #trendsreelonam #TrendsOnamNallaOlam hashtags for participating in this category
- Reels can be created showcasing Onam celebrations from any of the past years or current year
- Best 100 reels will receive Rs. 2000 worth TRENDS gift voucher. Full amount of this gift voucher can be used for shopping at any of the TRENDS stores in Kerala
- Top three trending reels (maximum views) will be selected as winners for the grand finale event
- Winners have to be present at the grand finale event in Kochi to receive the prize
- The decision of the judges and the expert panel shall be final in all matters and no correspondence shall be entertained in relation to their decision.
Trendsetter College Contest
- Colleges to form a team with maximum 20 members in the team and perform a 20 minutes stage show.
- 20 minutes performance to include a fashion show as one of the elements
- Shortlisted 50 colleges will be invited for the semi final round on 18th or 19th Aug, 2024 at any one of the following centers
Trivandrum, Kottayam, Cochin, Thrissur, Calicut
- At the semi final each team will be given 20 minutes to perform
- 20 minutes performance can include a skit, dance, song, fashion show etc to showcase the theme in the best creativity.
- Best team from each semi final round will be selected to the grand finale in Kochi
- Teams to carry an official document signed by the College to participate in the ground events
- Rs. 5000 will be given to every team selected to the semi - final round
- The decision of the judges and the expert panel shall be final in all matters and no correspondence shall be entertained in relation to their decision.
